An NFT, or ‘non-fungible token’, is a unique, non-interchangeable digital asset which is stored on a digital ledger, or ‘blockchain’. The proof of an NFT’s ownership is verified and authenticated by the blockchain the NFT is hosted on. Irish Players Club NFTs are digital collectibles, much like a digital version of a trading card. These NFTs support the players and give you access to exclusive perks.

The Irish Player’s Club (“IPC”) was created by former Notre Dame football players Mick Assaf and Nic Weishar in an effort to help support currently rostered Notre Dame football players. The IPC works directly with 80+ Irish athletes and creates NFTs that are sold to the public to benefit the players. The IPC NFTs will be minted on the polygon network and traded with Ethereum.

Aside from directly supporting current Notre Dame student athletes, owners of an IPC NFT will be eligible to participate in exclusive events with Notre Dame athletes throughout the year. More info to come on this.

IPC NFTs will be available for sale on our website https://irishplayersclub.com/ on March 1st 2022. Early access will be at 11am EST and public sale will be at 1pm EST. You will be able to purchase an NFT via credit/debit card until they are sold out.

Once the IPC NFTs are on sale, click buy now. Set up your Fortmatic Wallet by inputting your email address. Insert your credit card info. Click buy now. You will receive an email with instructions on how to view your new NFT.

Once you purchase an Irish Players Club pack, a random NFT from the 5,555 item collection will be transferred to the NFT wallet you created. For every 1 pack you purchase, you will receive 1 random NFT.

Your Fortmatic wallet is where your IPC NFTs will be securely sent and stored. Your phone or email can be used to login and your NFTs are safeguarded by security compliant services. You can transfer NFTs from your Fortmatic Wallet to another NFT Wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc) as needed.

OpenSea is the most commonly used platform where you can view, buy, and sell your NFTs. Once you’ve purchased IPC NFT(s), head over to http://opensea.io/ and click the wallet icon in the top right corner. At this point, you can connect your Fortmatic wallet to OpenSea. Once you log in and successfully connect your wallet, you will be able view all of your NFTs in that wallet on OpenSea.

All NFTs are randomly generated. If you choose to purchase from our website the day the sale is live, you will be transferred a random NFT to your Fortmatic Wallet. If you wish to buy a specific NFT, you can head over to the secondary market on OpenSea and find your favorite.

Absolutely. Our vision at IPC is to help athletes monetize their name, image, and likeness and be able to connect with fans like never before. Athletes that have opted into the IPC will receive 75% of profits from the sale of IPC NFT’s. Athletes will also get to stay connected with their day 1 supporters through the ownership of IPC NFTs through exclusive players club only events.

Yes. There is a maximum of 5,555 NFTs that can be purchased from this collection. Similar to a Tom Brady rookie card, no one can go back in time and create more of these exact editions once they are minted.
